Custom configured apparatus compartments will be among the best investments you'll make. They keep equipment organized and secure during transport, improve First Responder safety, and help crews swiftly find what they need when every second counts.
Should I build this into the overall specification process?
The ideal way to plan for compartment management is at the outset of specifying the rig. This enables your crews to immediately benefit and use the solution upon delivery. That said, be sure the manufacturer is paid in full before going to a certified installer.
Can I retrofit compartment management into my existing emergency vehicle?
Yes you can. We will need a gear list, a print showing compartment size from your apparatus specification sheet, and list of where you would like to see groups of gear located.
Who handles the installation?
A certified FMI installer mounts all new apparatus solutions. In the case where you are selecting a few of our products and not a complete master configuration, you will self-install those with instructions provided by our customer service team.
When can I get started?
The moment you recognize the need for better compartment management, and especially if a new apparatus is going to be specified.
Where is the work completed?
In our state-of-the-art manufacturing and production facility, other certified installation center, or self-installed if purchasing individual products rather than a complete solution.
What choices do we have?
Our configuration experts will tackle any mounting problem you may have and offer an effective solution.
How long will it take?
If the manufacturer is on schedule, and we started the process when the apparatus was ordered, it should take one to two weeks to complete the install.
